A Morning Write (shared in the night)

Winter Fog

A white blanket wraps bodies in warmth
She lies shivering, dreaming of a blanket
that never seems to wrap her

Heat lost to the winter
Frost lips bite bitter cold
Dissatisfaction

Upon clouds she scopes the scene
A white wintry fiction
Unfolds before her eyes

Shivering, teeth chattering
The Spring can't come
Soon enough
